How about a blast from the past? Just like these men were blasted right out of their tank. But in all seriousness, this one is from WWI, the dawn of modern warfare.

1914 – The assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand was used as a catalyst in starting the Great War, which introduced many new ways for men to brutally kill each other; the merciless trench mortars, machine guns, grenades and the infamous Mustard Gas. This image from 1917 purports to show a German soldier posing with a British tank and the remains of it’s crew. Devastating destruction wrought on iron and flesh alike. You figure you’d be safe as hell inside the claustrophobic confines of a tank, but as we here at BestGore have seen, there are things even a tank can’t withstand. My grandfather drove a tank during the Korean War and luckily he did not meet such an unfortunate fate. There are no winners in war…well, aside from the men prospering from it. But those young men who were drafted against their will or who are brainwashed into believing in fighting for their country…they will often meet nothing but the Grim Reaper, while the politicians and the Khazar puppeteers count their stacks of money in the background.

There was a time when war served a purpose, a time when there was really something to fight for and defend. There was a time when the leader of a country led his own troops into battle on the front line. We’ll probably never see those kinds of days ever again, It’s all about money and boot-licking the ones pulling the strings. War is now just another fucking business venture.
